Logo for Adams Alphas *Before Requirement Change*

I would have used these logos if i could use text in the logo design. Unfortunately I read the requirements on schoology wrong. So these are the before designs.

Logo for Adams Alphas *After*

I changed my design slighty so i could meet the no text and three colors requirements. I used the same two wolves as the first logo and gave them a "moon" to howl at. I used Adobe Kular to choose the colors the team selected. I used the eraser tool and the free selection tool (magic wand) to make it look like a wolf reflection. I used the color information in the article and the simplicity idea to create this simple design of a wolf or "alpha" wolf. I did take this wolf outline off of the internet, but i changed it so that it wouldnt look like the original design. I fi had kept the wolf exactly how I found it opnline it would be copywriting and it would be illegal.

  1. Simply stunning! I absolutely find that using the generic (circle) logo as the moon is quite original and the howling wolf is alluring; definitely what an Alpha should show. You could improve upon the shadow ratio and make the shadow a shade darker with the paint bucket tool.

  2. Michelle,
I really like your logo, before and after. I really like the illusion of the wolfs shadow on the moon. The colors look really cool with each other (the teal and the black)
I think the only thing i would do differently is maybe put shading into the final logo. Such as you did for the *before* logo. And still have the illusion of the two wolves. You can do this by adding a layer mask, selecting black, and shading the layer.
